So not HAPpening

The Hap has stalled.

I was cruising right along and thought the end was near, but ran out of yarn in the Bark colorway two and one-half rows short of my destination.

That means the redwood colorway will be short, too.

Off to find more yarn...

HAPpy KAL Update

I am making great progress on the Hap Shawl 2009 experiment. I am on row 38 and I am enjoying the color changes. I am happy with the way this is turning out.

My shawl is being knit on 10 1/2 needles and I am using all KnitPicks Palette yarn. I am very pleased with it. It is soft and not too splitty. This thing will be massive when it is done.

This is a very fast knit with the perfect combination of mindless knitting and interest. I did think the waves would be a bit more wavier. I keep telling myself to wait until it is off the needles, maybe it will wave more.

How is everyone else coming along???

Hap Knit-a-long

How is our progress coming along, ladies?

With the center square complete, I am 20 rows into the multicolored lace edge. There are a total of 72 rows. Then, there is the edging. All and all, I think I am a good 80% done.

I am a little concerned the colors I chose are a bit too garish, but I shall without judgment until all the colors are complete.

Hap, hap, happy knitting!

Whew!

Good to know, I am not addicted to knitting:

You scored 57%. You aren't addicted. Nope. Although the fact you found and took this test is a sign you have potential to become addicted. Why don't you head to your LYS and fondle yarn. That will help you progress to higher levels of addiction.
