The first in the Love in the Texas Hill Country Series, Breezy in Bandera is my the debut novel.
An orphan with a tragic past and a recently failed marriage, Bree Lancaster is hoping for a fresh start and a place to finally belong. Seeking assistance from the brothers Buchanan to turn an abandoned warehouse into a home, her presence triggers a series of encounters and events, which threaten to destroy her newfound confidence and any chance of happiness.
Zeke has lived Pro Deo et patria ("for God and country") and Pro aris et focis ("for hearth and home") for his entire life, but recently retired from the military, he is obligated to help his youngest brother with one last project before he moves on to establish a new life and a second career far from Texas.
Thrust to work together to see this project to completion,
Zeke must face the failures of his past and determine whether the hopes and
dreams he cherished as a younger man were worth dusting off and reinventing,
while Bree’s very existence is endangered not only by past horrors, but a very
real menace that threatens both her happiness and her safety. Can Bree and Zeke
overcome the challenges to find common ground?
