What day is it? Is that the sun shining? Where am I?

Lots of questions, no?

Well, February is half over, yet the heater still burns in South Texas and I am cold all the time, but winter will eventually end, I hope.

There has been a great deal of knitting going on, but not much to show for it.

First up, the Pumpkin Cheesecake scarf/wrap is inching along:

One and a half skeins in and I am half-way there, just in time for Spring, no less.

While Woolgirl is closing her shop, she will continue to provide kits and maintain her wonderful yarn clubs.  She even had a couple of test knits for me, that are still super secret and I cannot share, but one of these days, I will be able to show you.

The Madelinetosh Vintage in Mirth and I have been going at it again.  I have knit and frog one whole skein of it about four times.  I thought I had finally matched it to a perfect pattern, but two skeins into it, I think this, too, is destined for the frog pond, dammit.

 

In fact, I have been a bit frog happy around here.  I had some WIPs languishing about and decided I was no longer in love, so I ripped out and re-skeined a whole bunch of things, not that I had other projects in mind for the yarn, I was just tired of the partially worked items lying around and mocking me.  Now they simply mock from the stash closet.  Unfortunately, I can still hear them, snickering in the darkness, high on their little cedar fumes.

Could it be a bit of knitting burn-out?
