Driving Miss Chrissy

Yarn:  Classic Elite Waterlily in Bramble (sadly discontinued)

Aran weight  yarn on size US 9 needles makes for a very quick knit.  The pattern actually calls for size US 10 needles and a gauge of 4 stitches per inch, which would have made for a faster knit, but I decided I liked the slightly denser fabric made with a gauge of 4.5 stitches per inch.  A few simple calculations led me to move up a size to accommodate the tighter gauge.

This yarn is wonderful!  I loved the loft and feel of it when I was knitting with it, and it bloomed and softened even more after a soak.

Last night found me furiously knitting away so I would have time to wash it, dry it, and wear it!

The picture was taken after I had worn it all day in the back yarn while it was raining.

This is officially, my new favorite sweater.
