Wee Aurora Cowl
My younger daughter accompanied me on a yarn crawl a year or two ago. When we reached the last shop on our list, Old Oaks Ranch in Wimberley, we were pretty much shopped out; however, as we were preparing to leave, she spied something, some beautiful merino-silk single ply that she wanted. I told her if she could find a pattern or give me an idea of what we were going to do with it, I would buy it.
In all of three minutes, she came across a cowl.
Yesterday, I found the skein and the pattern tucked way into the back of a china cabinet that I use to store my favorite yarns, as well as finished designs that I use for my trunk shows.

Yarn: Brooks Farm Yarn Solo Silk in E14-Purple
This was a delightfully easy pattern and really quick knit.
Apparently, a bit of idle time agrees with me!
